It has been 50 years since the innovative introduction of General Systems Theory, which paved the way for couples and family therapy. Nonetheless, the essential notions were never made explicit or quantifiable, and the theory was never scientific. This course will demonstrate how we can now complete this idea and create successful and strong couples and family treatment approaches.
Educational Objectives:
Define equilibrium in couples’ relationships accurately and understand how to accomplish it.
Know how to raise vagal tone and describe the function of physiological arousal and calm during conflict exchanges.
In each of the seven emotional command systems, list the power of turning toward bids.*Content and confidentiality may be modified during sessions*
