The primary goal of Ericksonian work is to broaden viewpoints rather than to solve issues. A volunteer will show learning to understand underlying meanings in clients’ experiences, widening them, and then giving fresh viewpoints in direct and indirect ways clients are eager to hear. There will be a discussion and questions from the audience.
