I was terrible at marketing training packages.
It irritated me to no end to learn that I had lost a prospective customer despite the fact that they could afford my program and that I knew without a doubt that I could get them in fantastic condition.

One of my clients told me one day, “Bedros, you’re terrible at sales!”
Steven was the owner of a real estate business across the street from the gym where I exercised… His whole multimillion-dollar-producing company was predicated on sales, so he knew a thing or two about it.
“Yeah, but I sold you personal training,” I retorted.
“No, you didn’t, you simply accepted my order,” he said calmly. You are an order taker, not a close”.

That one class altered the course of my life and career by encouraging me to invest in my non-fitness talents, an aspect of my business that I had inadvertently ignored for years.
For the following six months, I bought anything I could get my hands on to assist me market my services and make more money.
After a few months, I wasn’t frightened to sell since I saw myself as an assistant buyer rather than a sleazy salesman.
