HR Professionals are company executives who must maintain a high degree of interpersonal competency in their job function, regardless of their level of experience. The willingness to obtain a true knowledge and respect for diversity, as well as the implementation of a safe and inclusive working environment for employees, is a key indicator of HR Professionals’ success in this area. This program aims to improve and/or elevate HR Professionals’ understanding of cultural competency in the workplace and what it means to really embrace a culture of diversity and tolerance. When human resource professionals take on the responsibility of teaching others about the differences and benefits that people from different cultures and backgrounds bring to the workplace, research shows that companies are more likely to attract top talent and improve customer orientation, employee satisfaction, and decision making, as well as create a cycle of increasing returns.
