Description: Copyright: March 16, 2016A New Approach to Treating Mental Disorders
We’ve all had clients who come into the office unhappy or worried, but they can’t pinpoint what’s upsetting them. Children with ADHD, suicidal thoughts, or an eating issue are brought in. Addicts have a difficult time gaining control of themselves. Many senior individuals appear to be suffering from dementia because they lack energy and enthusiasm for life. Others have several medical ailments in addition to severe depression, and we have all encountered people who have been worried their whole lives. In these situations, talking frequently does not yield the intended results, and both the client and the expert grow irritated.
Ms. Elizabeth Szlek, MA, LMHC, NCC, NTP, CGP, offers her decades of expertise integrating nutrition into treatment, as well as the cutting edge of nutritional research, in this engaging presentation. Discover extremely successful non-pharmaceutical therapies for anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, schizophrenia, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, and addictions. This course will provide you with the information and techniques to address these issues in a fresh light and enhance your treatment outcomes by including this critical mind-body link.
