Payrolls handle a large amount of money. Any flaw in a firm’s approach to employment taxes (and associated liabilities) can result in unfathomable disaster for both the company and the liable personnel. Payroll tax techniques are frequently developed, implemented, and documented with little, if any, consideration. It appears like no one is steering the boat. Someone needs to keep an eye on things. That individual is sometimes the non-tax professional. This course analyzes prospective and real life-threatening payroll tax disasters (as well as savings opportunities) and illuminates the next steps.
