If I contact 1000 individuals and close 1% of them, I’ll need to email 10,000 firms to finish the deal.
In fact, here’s the cool thing about Cold Email: the more people who continue to use it incorrectly, the more lousy marketers who use it to harass firms and drive them mad, the better it works for those of us who know how to use it well.
To demonstrate this wacky hypothesis, I really set myself the absurd objective of launching a BRAND NEW AGENCY and attempting to make as much profit as possible in 90 days utilizing solely a “cold approach.” The results not only blew me away after 90 wild days, but they also revolutionized the way many of us in the industry viewed Cold Emailing.
Overall, I used Cold Emailing for 90 days and closed 96K in sales, exceeding my monthly objective of $20,000…. (while nearly going insane, hurting my physical health, and hustling like a madman)
