A Less is More & Ear-Based Approach to Tasty Riff Making SOLOING FOR COMPLETE BEGINNERS
(To see the Course Trailer video, click “Watch Promo” above.)
Are any of these statements about you true?
You are afraid of going out on your own.
You want to solo but have no idea where to begin or what notes to play.
Your soloing is either completely random, or you’re just repeating the same thing.
You’re tired of being boxed in and want to develop your own voice.
If you answered yes to any of these questions, this course is for you.
You’ll discover an ear-based approach to soloing that will unleash your creativity and give you the courage to improvise.
Even though you’ll be playing by ear, all of the notes I play will be shown on a virtual fretboard so you can see the patterns on the guitar (check out the promo video above to see this).
People are stating the following about this system:
“Today I completed the Less is More unit. It was very simple, but my, the things we can achieve with only a few of notes. I was completely unaware! And, as you can see in the vids, you play first, followed by me. It’s entertaining!” -André G.
Thank you very much for your innovative approach to online music teaching.
-Impression I.
I’ve never seen something like this before.
This is completely interactive virtual 3 and 4 dimensional active tablature that is much easier to learn than face-to-face instruction.
– Mr. Robert T.
This has been the best way for me to study, particularly as a visual learner. Thank you for your thoroughness. Angelique Samblatte

What You Will Discover:
We’ll start basic in this exciting interactive course where you’ll be playing nonstop. First, we’ll jam on a single note, concentrating on developing cool rhythms and getting into the groove. We’ll progressively add additional notes until you’re comfortable playing your own creative riffs on several guitar strings. Each new segment will begin with me displaying some “repeat after me” ideas to a background track, but it will soon be your chance to create your own riffs.
“The most typical barrier to soloing is becoming trapped in your analytical thinking. This training will help you get out of your thoughts and into the music!” -Pow Music Founder Gary Heimbauer
Once you’ve mastered a few notes at a time, and then a few strings at a time, you’ll be able to use the entire pentatonic scale and the “House of Blues” extension – my absolute favorite area to rip a blistering solo! You’ll also learn some fantastic guitar skills to make your guitar sing and bring your musical ideas to life! Sliding, bending, vibrato, hammer ons, and pull offs are all examples of this.
In addition, you’ll discover how to practice what you’re learning in a way that allows you to improve your technique and musicality as rapidly as possible.
There will also be lots of chances for you to truly get into your own creative zone, such as in the “Guided Solo Game” and “The Last Pair” activity, where you’ll write your own song!
What Makes This Course Special?
Instead of a bunch of anxiety-producing information overload, we start with music production in this course so you don’t get caught in your brain. Once you’re comfortable being musical – some very easy music generating tasks – we’ll progress at a natural pace, gradually expanding your comfort zone. We’ll get to the theoretical and technical details eventually, but that’s secondary. The emphasis of this course is on making you feel at ease with being creative and expressing yourself, so that when you get to the technical elements, they may assist you rather than impede you.
