DescriptionManaging your classroom’s emotional atmosphere is critical to learning. When children struggle to control their anxiety, ADHD, and rage, they are unable to focus on the academic activities that are expected of them in the classroom. Children will be better able to concentrate on their work during the school day if they are taught easy, healthy, and safe ways to express their emotions and relax their bodies. The influence of excellent coping skills on a child’s academic achievement is genuinely transformative.
We’ll discover how coping skills affect a student’s nervous system and how to utilize that information to help youngsters relax their bodies and be ready to study in this session. Join coping skills specialist and seasoned school counselor Janine Halloran, LMHC as she demonstrates classroom coping skills and approaches.
You will leave with a toolkit of coping techniques.
