Abel, Ph.D., a worldwide lecturer, author, and clinical psychologist, has spent over 20 years specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders. She worked as the associate director of the Stress and Anxiety Disorders Institute at Penn State under the guidance of T.D. Borkovec, a renowned authority in Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD).
Her debut book, Active Relaxation (Self-Published, 2010), earned rave reviews from both mental health specialists and anxious consumers.
