Copyright: 24 July 2015 DescriptionThe modern joint replacement patient is more active, has greater expectations, and is better informed than previous joint replacement patients. Our health-care system for treating joint replacement patients has likewise altered dramatically in the previous several years. When these developments are combined, today’s rehabilitation therapist must keep current with the best available evidence within their practice context in order to give the greatest quality of treatment to satisfy the patient, payer, and provider.
This highly engaging workshop teaches physicians, from acute care to outpatient, how to employ a combination of manual therapy and practical remedial exercises to get the best possible outcome.
