This lecture will discuss recent updates in the diagnosis and treatment of low bone density and osteoporosis, as well as strategies for prevention.

- Define what is osteoporosis and fragility fractures
- Discuss the treatment of fragility fractures and how to prevent then
- Overview what optimizes bone health and updates in osteoporosis treatment

Kelsey Hoffman DO is a Family Medicine physician practicing Sports Medicine at Ortho Montana, in Billings, Montana, as well as a faculty member for the Montana Family Medicine Residency. Dr. Hoffman received her medical degree from Midwestern University – Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Chicago, Illinois, and completed her residency and a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Montana Family Medicine Residency at Riverstone Health in Billings, Montana. Her main interests are Non-operative Orthopedic and Medical Sports Medicine.
