From Kim Klaver’s Desk
I only recently discovered…
86% of MLMers said they would not buy a high-end product from a friend unless the friend was a ‘expert’ on the subject.
86% of 173 blog followers indicated they’d prefer buy an upmarket goods from a stranger than a friend. That example, if they believed the stranger was an authoritative figure while their buddy was not.
“This sheds whole fresh light on the topic. Ignorance is not an option, especially in the health and nutrition industry.
“Sure, I’d want to lend my company to a buddy, but they must first be knowledgeable.” Mr. Paul Kemp
It’s bad news for network marketers who want to sell tony things to their buddies.
Many mlm products are speciality items that cost more than the average alternative. A speciality product that one doesn’t know much about, which is generally 3-10 times more expensive than the cheapie equivalents, carries additional risk. As a result, the authority wins the contract. The fact that the majority (86%) of networkers state out loud in a public place that they would rather buy from an authority than a friend is extremely telling:
“I was recently in a “awkward circumstance”. A long-time family friend recently became a representative for a nutritious multi-level marketing organization. My husband and I witnessed his enthusiasm and noticed some benefits from his own use of the items. But. We chose to become clients of a “authority” (with the same mlm company as our friend). We don’t see our friend committing to being in it for the long term and not living what he preaches.” – Barb.
She suspected her companion was not devoted because she lacked power. So why do you want to work with him?
What exactly is this authority I’m referring to?
No, it’s not to pretend to be a doctor or scientist for your goods. It’s also not about having academic qualifications and letters after your name. While such things have their uses, I’m going to teach you a more valuable sort of authority – one that can help you generate trust and confidence in your consumers from the time you open your lips.
This 6-week intense “authority” training will teach you how to:
Determine and locate your specialized market.
Present your product in such a way that you are never seen as “one of those individuals selling one of those products” again.
Learn about the two most successful sorts of authority.

Have complete faith in yourself, knowing that you know what you need to know to deliver with confidence and authority.
All of this without having to pretend to be a doctor or scientist or cram for any academic qualifications.
Conduct lightning-fast authoritative research in any field, both online and offline.
