He enters the Mediamarket armed with paragraphs, ready to battle his rebranding. And when he says, “the television is broken,” the customer service responds, “Oh, no problem.” We’ll swap places. Will she take the new television right now, or should we deliver it?” Maybe you’ve already reintroduced yourself to something similar…)
Are you susceptible to the fear virus, and do you often worry about politicians, doctors, and coworkers… and then you have little energy left for your own life?
Ruins a date when something unexpected occurs that was not planned? Simply because you’ve lost track of the concept and are now trapped in your own head?
Do you ever stand in front of a beautiful woman and notice how the words elude you… Der Atem steht still… Du anläufst rot… And you can’t say anything because you’ve stopped speaking “in the moment” and instead are where the inner voice flüsters, “That was a mistake,” “Jetzt stehst du da wie ein Idiot,” “Alle Leute gucken dich gerade an”… And then you’re in the full BLOCKADE… overburdened and stuck like a hot-running computer chip?

THE LIFE IN THE PLASTIKTÜTE
It’s easy to believe that you’re the only one dealing with this issue.
It was the same for me for a long time.
So bad that I went to the Psychiatrist at the age of 21 to have my head scanned. I used to feel so disconnected from the outside world that I assumed I had a brain tumor.
I described it to the doctor at the time as a “Plastiktüte”: “It feels like my head is in a gefrierbag, and I gucke out of the Tüte toward the outside.” It has been cut and isolated.
Naturally, the doctors have never discovered anything.
Today I learned:
There was never anything medical about it. I was just in my head, and I had no idea what it meant, why it was happening, or how I should react…
IN 10 SEKUNDEN, AUS DEM KOPF
When you see yourself becoming stuck in your head again, hold your breath for ten seconds.
Herum spring. Place your hand on your chest. Schüttel as though you were having an epileptic seizure. You appear to have had a lobotomy, and the parts of your brain that keep you immobilized are turned off. Nothing should be held back.
You can do this anywhere you are alone. Before you come, you should go home. Or, if you’re on a date and want to be fully immersed in the present moment with your date, take a quick trip to the toilet.
Guck, it’s all clear to me. Acht out of ten people who read the last paragraph nod their heads and say, “Der Typ has sie ja nicht mehr alle.” That’s OK. Please exit the site now for these eight people. However, if you happen to hear the other two, try out what I just showed you. Yes, you will come across as an idiot. However, this is an experiment. You don’t have to rely on my word; instead, you can figure it out for yourself.
Go away from the computer, do what I’ve said, and then return after 30 seconds to see what difference you can find.
If you do this for the first time, you will come off as an idiot. But it isn’t important whether or not the medicine tastes good. What matters is whether or not she has an effect. And I’m sure you’ll notice how you suddenly wake up, how you become more aware of your surroundings, and how you emerge from your head.
You could even notice that your voice is a little deeper and your body posture is a little more upright.
Oh, and by the way:
If you’re the type of person who often lacks energy, feels lethargic, and can’t find anything to motivate you, this “mudigkeit” will be “herausgeschüttelt” if you “do the Affen.” The “Müdigkeit” you perceive is more of a “Eingerostetsein” that results from your constant self-control. Und wenn du „den Affen machst“, machst du damit für ein paar Sekunden alle Dämme platt und spülst dein System einmal richtig durch. Das Ergebnis: Du fühlst dich wieder frisch. You appear to be alive. And you’re suddenly filled with dread and energy, ready to get out and do something!

Ich hab‘ schon deinen Meditationskurs und andere Sachen von dir. Gibt es Überschneidungen mit diesem Kurs? Meditation ist eine der 25 Techniken, die wir uns in „Raus aus dem Kopf“ anschauen. Der Kurs insgesamt ist brandneues Material. Ich stelle sogar eine ganz neue Meditationstechnik vor, speziell um aus dem Kopf rauszukommen. Wenn du dich in einigen der Punkte ganz oben auf dieser Seite wiedergefunden hast, dann wirst du von diesem Kurs hier profitieren, auch wenn du schon ein fleißiger „Meditator“ bist.
Wenn ich nicht mehr in meinem Kopf gefangen bin, krieg‘ ich dann jede Frau? Nein. Aber du wirst es nicht länger vergeigen mit den Frauen, die du haben kannst.
Ich hab‘ schon alles versucht – ich glaube, ich werde nie aus meinem Kopf rauskommen! Ich hab‘ mir eingeredet, allein dadurch dass ich das Geld ausgegeben habe, wäre ich ein Stück voran gekommen. Aber natürlich ist das Käse. Etwas zu kaufen bringt dich nur weiter, wenn du die Sache auch benutzt. Und mit dem Kurs hier ist es genauso. Ich hab‘ dir oben ’ne kleine Übung zum Ausprobieren gegeben. „Mach den Affen“. Vielleicht erinnerst du dich. Wenn du sie gemacht hast, und du hast ’nen Unterschied gemerkt, dann wird der Kurs dich weiter bringen und du solltest ihn dir holen. Wenn du die Übung nicht gemacht hast, dann wirst du wahrscheinlich auch die Übungen im Kurs selber nicht machen… und dann verschwendest du nur deine Zeit. Meine Verantwortung ist, diesen Kurs so wertvoll wie möglich zu machen, damit er Leuten in den unterschiedlichsten Situationen hilft. Deine Verantwortung ist, ob du ihn ernst nimmst oder nicht.
