When and Why Should You Consult an Attorney?
Stay out of the Litigation Hot SeatDealing with the day-to-day challenges of treating clients can be overwhelming for those working in the mental/behavioral health field. Administrative and legal responsibilities, on the other hand, are equally important. There are significant decisions – the legal and prudent responses to a wide range of situations – that necessitate proper legal awareness in order to remain in compliance. Many well-meaning providers may face serious legal and financial consequences if they do not have this information. The goal of this seminar is to provide critical information and insight into mental health laws and regulations. This seminar will be invaluable to social workers, therapists, nurses, psychologists, counselors, addiction professionals, and healthcare administrators who work in the mental health field.
