The Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association (AOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.
Michelle D. Mifflin, DO is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Family Medicine at Midwestern University. Concurrently, she serves as the Director and Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine Faculty Advisor for Health Outreach through Medicine and Education (H.O.M.E.), assisting students in providing free medical care to homeless shelters in the Phoenix area. Dr. Mifflin earned her DO degree from Oklahoma State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma and she completed her family medicine residency through the Midwestern University Graduate Medical Education Consortium at Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital in Tempe, Arizona. She is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Mifflin has been practicing yoga consistently since 2010, as a means of exercise, mental focus, spiritual grounding and relaxation.
