These pickups elevate the Shreddage 3 Hydra above and beyond our other guitars. They boast unique and useful tones (neck and bridge locations), as well as unrivaled clarity and low noise floor. Some open-string sustain notes can be heard for more than 40 seconds!

Hydra provides all of the tools you need to produce really great guitar compositions by exhaustively sampling all usable articulations, dynamics, RR variants, and layers. You can build rhythm sections, chords, and leads that will blow people away with their sound and authenticity with the appropriate composition (see our ‘Masterclass’ series on YouTube, below).

Naturally, this is a fantastic guitar for rock and metal, especially heavier subgenres and progressive variants. However, as seen in our walkthrough video and samples, the clean tone possibilities are as amazing. Console is a revolutionary mixer, modular effects rack, and pedal board that allows you complete control over your virtual guitar tone. Unlike our previous FX racks, which only included a few preset modules, Console has 30 effects modules to pick from!
