Description
Distinguish between “WNL” and “baseline.”
Determine the true reason as opposed to a symptom.
The multisystem impacts of sleep loss
Dehydration: The issue includes both fluids and electrolytes.
Those pesky skin problems are no longer a concern!
Anaphylaxis consequences and the apnea-reflux linkI’m having trouble breathing. My head hurts. I’m becoming heated. My inhaler has stopped functioning. I’m having trouble sleeping. I can’t seem to quit coughing. This rash is not going away. My gut aches. Isn’t that a decent pulse oximeter reading?
Do any of the above sound familiar? These are just a handful of the complaints we hear from kids who aren’t feeling well. Children may arrive with acute illnesses, chronic disease flare-ups, or life-threatening consequences. As pediatric healthcare practitioners, we must grasp and comprehend the interdependence of both complicated and common pediatric illnesses. During this full-day interactive workshop, you will learn evidence-based techniques for recognizing, preventing, and managing a variety of pediatric diseases that cause children to “not feel so good,” as well as how to distinguish between CAUSE and SYMPTOM. Stephen will educate you on pharmaceutical, technical, and non-pharmacological management, including crucial evaluation clues and treatments, through conversation, case studies, and “fun.” You will feel prepared to treat difficult children diseases after attending this instructional session!
